C. maxima 'Imperial Palace'
A selection from Black Willow Orchids, 'Imperial Palace' is the progeny of 'Black Willow' SBM/JOGA and 'Monster Lip'.
This is a large-flowered individual, with recorded measurements of 14.7 cm × 15.6 cm. Despite its medium plant stature, it is highly floriferous, with documented records of up to 7 flowers per inflorescence.
The horizontal spread is exceptional. The petals are notably flat, and the elliptical lip is virtually flawless.
