'Santa Tereza' is one of the best-known individuals among the light-colored warneri, and was most likely collected in the wild. This plant is a mericlone (MC), imported from Brazil in 2023. It is vigorous with a good blooming habit, flowers every year in early summer, and is fragrant. At the time of import it was labeled with the form name albescens; some also mark it as suave, concolor, and the like, but these should all refer to the same individual. (Photographed: July 13)

Mystacidium (which may be rendered in Chinese as "齿须兰") is a genus native to Africa and a close relative of Aeranthes. The species epithet capense is said to refer to the Cape of Good Hope. Put together, the name means the "Cape mystacidium." The plant is fairly miniature, yet a single spike can bear around ten flowers. This plant came out of seedling selection. Once regarded as the most intense flamea wallisii, it remains one of the finest wallisii today. In 'Kastalia', beyond the flamea across all five segments, the petals develop a second layer of flame as well—that is, a pincelada-like marking overlaid on top of the flamea. 'Dulce Azul' was entered at the 80th JOGA Orchid Show held in March 2026 and awarded a Bronze Medal. This is the first JOGA award received to date, and it is a milestone of great significance. We will continue our efforts to breed outstanding varieties and to supply quality plants to enthusiasts around the world. 'Dulce Azul' was selected by a Japanese grower from a batch of Ecuadorian seedlings. Its parentage is no longer on record, but it is believed to be Gigi × Angelo. Th

C.maxima coerulea 'Blue stage' (Div.) A select seedling from Alexandra × self, standing out as the finest of its siblings. It bears relatively large flowers with excellent form, successfully avoiding the column exposure issue common to most Alexandra derivatives. The coloration is incredibly rich and deep, gradually intensifying as the bloom progresses. With a past record of 6 flowers on a single inflorescence, we look forward to unlocking even greater potential in the future

C. schroederae semi-alba 'Hyllus' (Div.) Selected from alba 'Hercules' × 'Orinoco', this individual was named 'Hyllus'—the son of Hercules. Due to a slightly smaller flowering pseudobulb this year, the bloom quality did not match its previous years' standards. Having been repotted, we highly anticipate its performance next season.

C.walkeriana f. fantasia-pelorica 'Desavenca' This individual is a selection from Orquidário Paulista, imported to Japan circa 2023. It first bloomed in our greenhouse in December 2025. The pseudobulbs are relatively slender, and the overall plant size is slightly larger than the typical C. walkeriana. The flower carries a notably large NS and features strong fantasia markings on the petals. The degree of trilabelo expression is moderate, contributing to a unique overall styl
