C. wallisii flamea 'Kastalia'

This plant came out of seedling selection. Once regarded as the most intense flamea wallisii, it remains one of the finest wallisii today. In 'Kastalia', beyond the flamea across all five segments, the petals develop a second layer of flame as well—that is, a pincelada-like marking overlaid on top of the flamea.

The flower form is beautifully round and full, and the lip is large, making for a striking display.
