C. jenmanii 'Salto Angel' BM/JOGA bloomed in December 2025 from a division, producing two flowers on a single inflorescence..
Named after the world’s highest waterfall, this premier natural selection is a JOGA Bronze Medal recipient. The blooms exhibit superior form and excellent balance. The lip is particularly striking, featuring vibrant coloration with sophisticated gradients and rich detail. Of exceptional quality is the deep pigmentation at the center of the lip—a trait rarely encountered in C. jenmanii.
Overall, 'Salto Angel' stands as a quintessential representative of wild-collected C. jenmanii. Furthermore, it holds a significant position in breeding lineages; its crosses with 'Deep Kiss' have yielded numerous outstanding rubra individuals.
